Siebte, vollständig überarbeitete und erweiterte Auflage, Oktober 2011

Die siebte Auflage der INSPIRE-GMES-Informationsbroschüre ist veröffentlicht. Sie können die Broschüre ab sofort über die untenstehenden Links herunterladen. Die Broschüre gibt einen Überblick über die Grundlagen und den aktuellen Stand von INSPIRE. GDI-Verantwortliche aus Deutschland und ausgewählten Ländern Europas berichten über den Stand ihrer INSPIRE-Umsetzungsaktivitäten. Zudem werden aktuelle, in der Testregion Bodensee durchgeführte, internationale Forschungsprojekte mit Bezug zu INSPIRE vorgestellt. Des Weiteren beschäftigt sich die Broschüre mit der GMES-Initiative sowie den Synergien zwischen INSPIRE und GMES am Beispiel des Projekts InGeoSat.

Die Informationsbroschüre richtet sich primär an Personen, die in die Thematik INSPIRE und GMES einsteigen wollen und Interessierte aus der Verwaltung, vor allem von Landes- und Kommunalbehörden. Diese sollen dabei unterstützt werden, ihre IT- und GIS-Strategien rechtzeitig auf die Anforderungen von  INSPIRE abzustimmen. Zum anderen soll die Broschüre GIS-Anbietern und Dienstleistern, die Lösungen für die INSPIRE-Implementierung anbieten wollen, hilfreiche Informationen liefern. Studenten und Wissenschaftler können sie zum Einstieg in die Themengebiete INSPIRE und GMES sowie zur Vertiefung ihrer Kenntnisse nutzen.

Seventh, completely revised, extended and updated edition, October 2011

The seventh edition of the INSPIRE-GMES Information Brochure is online. You can download the brochure from now on through the links listed below. The brochure provides an overview of the foundations and the current state of INSPIRE. Persons from Germany and selected European countries, who are responsible for SDIs, report on the status of their activities regarding the implementation of INSPIRE. Furthermore, international research projects related to INSPIRE, which are currently executed in the Lake Constance region, are presented. Above that, the brochure covers the GMES initiative as well as the synergies between INSPIRE and GMES by the example of the project InGeoSat.

The information brochure primarily addresses persons who would like to become familiar with the topics INSPIRE and GMES and interested persons from administration, expecially state and local authorities. They are to be supported to adjust their IT and GIS strategies to the requirements of INSPIRE in time. On the other hand the brochure is to provide useful information to GIS vendors and service providers who intend to offer solutions for the implementation of INSPIRE. Students and scientists can use the brochure as introduction to and for improving their knowledge on the topics INSPIRE and GMES.
